Italian-American adventure

The group converged on Olga's Restaurant on E. Ridge Rd. only to find it closed. Undaunted by the absence of Chicken Kiev and Ukrainian dancing, we foraged east on the ridge for suitable sustenance. Guido's Pasta Villa caught our eye, we took a chance and were pleasantly surprised!

Here's Karen's roundup:

2 carafes of chianti
1 carafe montepulciano
Escargot special with spinach and sun dried tomatoes (thanks, Zahra, for suggesting)
Beans and greens (yum, margarine)
Calamari scampi
Bread with herbed butter
Artichokes French (thanks, Holly)
Ravioli with vodka sauce (thanks, Meg)
Chicken parm (as the natives call it)
Cannoli
Chocolate peanut butter pie
Some frou-frou coffee drinks
For a grand total of... I don't remember!

Although not our usual exotic fare, we enjoyed an evening of good food and lots of wine. Bring it!
